Announcement: Welcome to the TID Synergy Journal of Development

The Institute for Development Synergy (TIDS) is pleased to announce the official launch of the TID Synergy Journal of Development, a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal established to advance rigorous, interdisciplinary, and policy-relevant scholarship on development issues in Nigeria, Africa, and the wider global community.

The launch of this journal marks an important milestone in the mission of TIDS as a non-profit interdisciplinary academic and professional institution committed to addressing complex development challenges through research, strategic engagement, and practical solutions. The journal has been created as a platform for scholars, researchers, policymakers, professionals, and development practitioners whose work seeks to deepen understanding, inform policy, strengthen institutions, and promote sustainable human development.

The TID Synergy Journal of Development is rooted in the belief that many of the most pressing challenges facing societies today cannot be adequately addressed through isolated or single-discipline approaches. Development concerns such as governance, public health, education, leadership, economic transformation, legal reform, security, technological advancement, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion require collaboration across fields of knowledge and practice. In response to this reality, the journal is designed to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and publish research that bridges theory, evidence, and application.

As an open-access journal, the TID Synergy Journal of Development is committed to ensuring that knowledge remains widely accessible to readers across academic, professional, institutional, and policy communities. By making research freely available, the journal seeks to widen intellectual exchange, encourage informed public discourse, and increase the practical impact of scholarly work. The journal also adopts a peer-reviewed publishing model to maintain high standards of academic integrity, originality, relevance, and quality.

The journal welcomes contributions in a broad range of areas connected to development research and practice, including but not limited to governance and public policy, education, public health, law, leadership, entrepreneurship, economic development, public-private partnerships, capital markets, investment literacy, innovation, engineering, security, sustainability, and related interdisciplinary fields. It aims to publish work that not only contributes to academic debate but also offers insight for practitioners, institutions, and decision-makers working to build more inclusive, effective, and resilient societies.

Through the TID Synergy Journal of Development, the Institute for Development Synergy reaffirms its commitment to transforming research into meaningful social value. The journal is intended to serve as more than a publication outlet; it is a forum for ideas, evidence, and engagement that can shape development thinking and practice at local, national, regional, and international levels.

We invite authors, reviewers, readers, partners, and members of the wider academic and professional community to join us in building this journal into a credible and impactful platform for development scholarship. We look forward to receiving original contributions and to fostering a vibrant community of inquiry dedicated to knowledge, collaboration, and positive change.

For submissions, updates, and further information, readers and contributors are encouraged to engage with the journal through its official platform and related TIDS channels.
